Trail Quest

28 02 2012

Today we all spent the day on a long walk stopping to solve problems and read clues to direct us on our way.

One of the challenges on our travels was to take part in a canoeing activity.  During this task Mr Tinker found himself in the water along with his fellow paddler Jacob Jones.  There are no photos of this event as Mr Tinker’s camera/phone is now drying on a radiator in the hope that it will work again!!!!!

14 09 2011

Today we began our PE sessions with Ian Fearnley, from Idsall School, who is a Karate instructor.

We learned many self defence moves (kata) and also began to learn to count to ten in Japanese.  All very impressive for our first lesson.

Today we have had a transition day in Class 3 and have had our Year 3 children with us all day.

This morning we looked at what the school’s ASPIRE mission staement meant and then also came up with a bank of words that would fit ASPIRE if it was our wn individual mission statement. With this bank of words we used WORDLE.com to create word clouds.
